Information Collected
A public contact name, telephone number and e-mail address, as well as an administrative contact name, telephone number and email address are collected when you add information to the database. The administrative contact and the public contact may be identical. You will receive a confirmation email with a password that will allow you to log into the system (using your administrative email address and password) to add, edit and delete records attached to your user profile.
When you create a record in the database, you have the option to hide the public email address (request that its publication is suppressed from the database). Once you have a user profile, you can choose to delete associated data records from your profile at any time. To delete your user profile, please email admin@go-bio.ca with "delete user profile" as the subject.
Emails
If you email admin@go-bio.ca or webmaster@go-bio.ca we will use that information to communicate with you and to improve content and usability of the site based on your feedback.
Site Usage
When you visit www.go-bio.ca for the purposes of searching the site and do not enter any personal information, no information regarding your email address, domain name or search criteria is collected.
In order to administer the site, the number, frequency and duration of the visits to the site may be monitored. This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
